Curtis Stone Electric Griddle. Call me hooked.

I want to know where this Electric Griddle has been all my life.

Why did I wait so long to get my Curtis Stone Electric Griddle? One reason is that I did not know about it. This griddle is a picky eater dream. Here I am three months later, and I have not put my Curtis Stone Electric Griddle away since I got it.

Four top Reasons why I love my Curtis Stone Electric Griddle.

• Very easy to clean. If I plan to use it later the same day, I give it a quick wipe and clean the drip pan to keep it ready for the next meal.
• Food does not stick. Nothing I have cooked on it has stuck on it yet.
• No oil or butter is needed. I will admit I do use butter when making pancakes and salmon, but that is for flavor. 
• Easy to put away, but you may want to keep it on your counter if you have space.  

Healthy eating.

Healthy eating for a picky eater like myself is rare. Often I am searching for alternatives, and since my pallet is so selective, I gravitate towards how I cook. With this Curtis Stone Electric Griddle, I have another rare opportunity to cut down on oils and butter. Previously I needed triple the amount of oil or butter to add flavor and help the food stick less. Non-stick surface makes clean-up so comfortable, and the grease runs off into the metal drip pan. More fat removed results in fewer calories in your food.

Durability.

Currently, I am testing its durability. I use it every day, sometimes twice a day, and I worry if it will stand up to my abuse. Only time will tell. For now, it still looks pretty, and I suspect that it can and will stand up to my frequent use.

A deep clean is called for, especially if you plan to put it away or if used a lot in a short period. Removing and cleaning the drip pan is recommended after every use.
