Pandemic DIY Project Adventures.
My frequent You Tube journeys have taken me places I never dreamed I would ever go. I am a super DIYer. I look up everything on YouTube and almost always can find video or two or three about my latest interest.
During the pandemic of 2020, my youtube journeys became more frequent and more daring. From plumbing to the assembly of various items to cooking, I had to try to do it myself. I am quite proud of what I accomplished so far on my own, and there are so many more things I want to do.
Here I share with you my various journeys into the DIY hemisphere. I share the ups and downs and successes and failures. Why? You ask to also benefit from my mistakes and accomplishments and hopefully save yourself time and money.
Take the time to see if a DIY project is worth your time.
Ah!! The time I Say… Yes, one of the sacrifices you make is time. Anything you have never done before will take you lots of time. So make sure you plan your time accordingly. A project that may take a professional a few hours may take you a few days only because of the frequent pauses you need to make to check and double-check your work.
You can find me guilty of shrugging my shoulders and saying OH!! That is easy. Never been afraid nor too humble to admit that if something looks easy doesn’t mean it is. I have also looked at things and believed it would be hard and was wrong also. I can put my mind to anything, but I am never afraid to throw in the towel if needed.
Warning and disclosure.
Be warned if you dare to explore as I do; sometimes, the DIY attempt can backfire, costing you more money to fix than if you would have paid for if you were to get a professional to begin with.
